LETTINGS MANAGER
LETTINGS MANAGER
  • You’re the face of lettings for the branch and along with your branch manager are accountable for lettings.
  • You feel valued as lettings is as important as sales in Julian Wadden and you’re part of the branch and not an isolated team.
  • You’re hungry to grow the lettings business.
  • You are bold and proactive in creating valuation and lettings opportunities.
  • You represent a powerful combination of a dynamic lister and solid organiser who has learned to manage their time in and out of the office.
  • No day is ever the same and you are comfortable to move from valuations and viewings to processing applications and move-ins.
  • You enjoy working with your branch to create mutual sales and lettings opportunities.
SENIOR NEGOTIATOR
SENIOR NEGOTIATOR
  • You’re a highly regarded negotiator who has honed their skills across all aspects of applicant registration, viewings, sales negotiation and progression and possibly measure-ups.
  • You will be highly confident at dealing with clients and properties across all brackets.
  • Depending on your expertise and future career aspiration, you will either be relied upon by the Assistant Manager to help convert the branch pipeline to completion or the branch manager to support on valuations.
  • You will be persuasive and commercially astute at securing valuation and cross-service opportunities between sales, lettings and financial services.
  • You will enjoy the opportunity to perfect your engaging and enthusiastic client care and contact skills.
  • You will develop a breadth of knowledge across key lettings services and processes as you support the branch on lettings when needed.
NEGOTIATOR
NEGOTIATOR
  • You’re a people person and you relish your role as the first point of contact for clients and customers.
  • You know you never get a second chance to make the right impression and your enthusiasm in registering clients, arranging viewings and valuations sets the branch apart from competitors from the very first touch point.
  • You will enjoy the variety of conducting viewings and the buzz of negotiating sales through to completion with the support of your team.

  • You’re a highly skilled organiser who works accurately and at pace to resolve branch, tenant and landlord queries.
  • You thrive on and work best with efficient processes and SLAs.
  • You will join a forward thinking, highly professional and highly valued Property Management team.
  • You have expert knowledge of lettings best practice and you are adept at supporting branch based Lettings managers across all matters of lettings process and compliance.
  • You will enjoy the variety of outbound property inspections this role offers.

YOUR RECRUITMENT JOURNEY

Roles at a glance

Step 1. Send your CV in to careers@julianwadden.co.uk and you’ll always receive an acknowledgement e-mail even if we don’t have a suitable opportunity at that time. You will be surprised how many of our colleagues join us months and years after first sending their CV in!

Step 2. If we have an opportunity that matches your skills and experience, you will normally be invited to an initial telephone interview as a first stage

Step 3. Our second stage recruitment involves our unique ‘In-Branch Experience’ where you will get the opportunity to spend time in the business and meet your future working team. Structured interviews will also follow.

Step 4. Depending on the nature of the role, our second stage may include some written scenario assessments. But don’t worry, you will always know in advance and these assessments are as much about developing you if you join us as they are about recruitment.

Step 5. If we’re a match made in heaven, then you will be offered the role subject to pre-employment checks. These only take place after a role has been accepted and we do these checks due to the nature of client’s assets and client accounts we are dealing with. These checks are done by an independent external agency.

Step 6. You will be pleased to know we’re all about efficiency and all our standard contract and offer documentation is arranged electronically.
